Staff Profile
Hello! I am very excited to be teaching 2nd Grade at Westgate again this year! This will be my 14th year of teaching, and my 4th year teaching at Westgate. From 2005-2012, I taught 1st and 3rd grade at Aurora Quest K-8, a magnet school for Gifted and Talented children. Since then, I have been a part-time ELL teacher, a stay-at-home parent, substitute teacher, 3rd grade teacher at Tarver Elementary, and I homeschooled my children during the 2020-2021 school year. I was very happy to return to teaching full-time. I love my job!
I have been married to my husband for 14 years and we have 2 children, ages 10 and 13. Both of my children attend Westgate as well. I enjoy reading, watching Sci-Fi, getting together with friends, and snuggling with my dogs in my spare time.
