We have established clear carline procedures to make the drop-off and pick-up process as streamlined as possible for our community while supporting health and safety requirements. If you have a question not included in the FAQs, please email our Communications office.

School starts promptly at 8:00 AM
Supervision begins at 7:45 AM
Doors open at 7:50 AM
School ends at 3:30 PM

- Pick Up: 3:30 PM - 4:00 PM

Car Line

You will receive a number that will allow you to pick up your student. This number tag can be displayed inside your windshield, and Westgate staff will communicate your arrival to your student's classroom. For the diagram and general information, please refer to the dropdowns below.

Why do I need a number

Which line should I use if I have multiple students?

What if my student is part of a carpool or I need someone else to pick up my student?

Each household will receive two hangtags with your family number on it. If you carpool, please feel free to give one of the tags to the carpool driver. Be sure the driver has your hangtag number in order for them to be able to pick up your student efficiently.

If someone comes to pick up your student and does not have a hang tag, they may be asked to pull over so we can verify identity and pickup authorization prior to release.
You can email [email protected] to notify the school of pickup changes to make it easier.
If you have a regular person who will be picking up your student, fill out the Student Pickup Authorization Form found in the left-side bar.

What if I need more than 2 hangtags?

Other Transportation Options:

RTD FlexRide

RTD offers a service called FlexRide (formerly Call n Ride) which is a shared ride bus service that travels within select RTD service areas. FlexRide is available on a first come, first-served basis. All FlexRide vehicles are accessible and have bike racks.

RTD has great discounted options for student transportation and is even offering a Zero Fee Youth program for kids under 19 to ride for free until August 2024. We are hoping they extend this program, but even if they don't, they have generous discount programs for students.

Schoolpool: Car Matching Service

We partnered with Way to Go Schoolpool to offer a matching service for the 24/25 school year. Schoolpool is a service of Way to Go, a federally funded program of the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG). Contact Way to Go at 303-458-7665 or waytogo.org for assistance.

Families must opt-in to this service via a computer (not a smart phone or tablet)
Use our customized Westgate Schoolpool link (Your information will only be shared with the same school families. For privacy and security, each school’s registration link is unique.)
Families must contact each other to coordinate a carpool.

Privacy and security: Westgate and Schoolpool do not run background checks, confirm valid driver’s licenses, or assess insurance coverage on participants. Potential users are advised to screen participants to their personal satisfaction and check their own insurance coverage for carpooling to ensure that they are covered under these voluntary arrangements. Schoolpool does not provide drivers, vehicles, or insurance.
