Nicole St. Clair - English/Language Arts

My name is Nicole, and I am the English Language Arts teacher for grades 7 and 8. I am a Colorado native with a Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Northern Colorado and a Master's degree in Human and Family Development from Arizona State University. Drawing from a deep-rooted passion for storytelling and communication, I am committed to creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment where students are encouraged to explore their literary interests and develop critical thinking skills. My teaching philosophy centers around cultivating a supportive atmosphere that inspires students to express themselves effectively and appreciate diverse perspectives.

 

Outside of my professional responsibilities, I love playing volleyball and basketball, as well as exploring the mountains through camping and hiking. My biggest passion is traveling, especially to a beach destination! I am married to my high school sweetheart, and together we have a daughter who is currently in the first grade. Our family is completed by our cat, Aspen, and our recently adopted puppy, Maizee. I am excited for the opportunity to get to know everyone and to contribute to a successful and rewarding year!!
