A little about me:
I am thankful for my youthful energy, optimism, and quirks. I am fun and energetic, and I get a little overly excited about my passions. I live my life and encourage others to deviate from the path of expectation and find what truly makes you happy. I LOVE sharing my journey towards finding my calling and how I ended up becoming a math teacher (please feel free to ask me more about it). I am so excited to start teaching at Westgate this year.
I spent the first half of my youth in South Park and have lived in Colorado my entire life. I even went to college in Colorado, earning a bachelor's in mathematics from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. I have been going through so many positive life changes in recent years including getting married this coming September! I love skiing, disc golf, hockey, and video games among many other interests and hobbies. In high school, I was a wrestling state finalist and an all-conference baseball player.
Teaching is my dream, and it will allow me to fill my outside dreams of having a family, football and barbecues on Sundays, children with close relationships to their cousins and grandparents. But teaching is only the start, I want to be a teacher, coach, and mentor, and help others navigate through this world we call ours.

My mission statement:
I aim to help students find and develop their own identity and individuality in order to pursue their goals and happiness. I strive to develop students with the ability to solve problems and overcome any adversity they may encounter in their lives.
