Staff Profile

In my professional life, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Purdue University as well as an endorsement in Science and a Master of Education from Olivet Nazarene University along with earning several certifications in Project Lead the Way.  I have been teaching seventh and eighth grade students Science and STEM for the last 26 years.  My two adult children, CJ and Mandy, have lived in Denver for the last eight years, and my husband, Tim, and I were missing our family time with them and decided to make the move.   My husband, also a middle school educator for 30 years, retired at the end of last year and is now working at a golf course to occupy his time and loves every minute of it.  We enjoy spending time with our family, taking our two rescue dogs, Nala and Khali, on hikes and exploring all that Denver has to offer.
