Staff Profile

Hello,  

I am so excited to be a part of the 3/4 team at Westgate and help students explore their passions and deepen their knowledge. This is my 7th year as a lead teacher and my 4th year focusing on 3rd grade standards. I attended the University of Colorado – Boulder (GO BUFFS!) where I studied Psychology, Elementary Education, and Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. I believe every child deserves a loving and safe learning environment with the ability to explore their passions and learning style.  

Outside of the classroom I enjoy spending time with my husband, son, and dogs. We like to go hiking, fishing, and camping. When at home we love board games and video games. I have an extensive book collection and enjoy sharing my love of literature with my students and family.
