Hi, I'm Allie Haworth and I am so excited to be the 7th & 8th grade science teacher and team lead! This is my fifth year in education, second year teaching science at Westgate. I began by teaching small group math intervention for 2 years within Denver Public Schools, spent a year in my own math classroom at a middle school charter in Denver and I am excited to be following my passion of science by teaching science for 7th and 8th grade. I believe that all students are capable of learning, are unique and need a teacher that caters to their individual needs in a safe and stimulating environment. I am incredibly passionate about our students, school and community!

 

When I am not in the classroom, I am at home with my husband, two children (3 years old and 7 months old), three cats and two dogs. As Colorado Natives, you will find us camping, hiking, and doing as many things outdoors as possible. I also love reading, crafting, completing complicated puzzles, collecting cool rocks and fossils, and lots and lots of iced coffee!
