Hello,  

I am excited to be your 3rd and 4th grade teacher here at Westgate. I was drawn to Westgate because I love that we focus on the whole child, meaning that we work on not only academics but the social and emotional skills children need to be successful in the world. I cannot wait to work with you and your child this school year!  

I went to Illinois State University where I received my bachelors in Human and Educational Services. Then I went back to school at Lewis University in Illinois for my masters in Elementary Education. This is my third-year teaching 3rd grade and I could not be more excited to be continuing my career with Westgate!  

In my free time, I love to hike, craft, and hang out with my friends! I love animals, sloths are my favorite and all things that are sweet, especially Reese’s Cups. I am from the Southwest suburbs of Chicago and moved here a little over a year ago. I am the second oldest of five in my family. I have three sisters and one brother. I also have the cutest dog that I miss because she is back in Illinois.
