Earn College Credits in High School
Graduate from High School with 60 Credits from Front Range Community College!
Students can begin taking Front Range courses at the start of their high school journey. To be eligible, they must place in FRCC through the Accuplacer, which is the College Board placement test that FRCC uses to ensure students are accessing appropriate courses. Commonly, students follow the progression listed below to earn 60 credits that may also earn them a certificate or Associate Degree:
- 9th: 1 FRCC class (3-5 credits) at the college campus each semester (M,W)
- 10th: 2 FRCC classes (6-10 credits) at the college campus each semester (T,Th)
- 11th: 3 FRCC classes (9-15 credits) at the college campus each semester (M-Th)
- 12th: 4 FRCC classes (12+) at the college campus each semester (M-Th)
