People with disabilities need access to same resources as those without. How can we as 2nd graders empower those with disabilities to create a more equitable world?
Week 1: Expectations and Routines, Collaborative Mural, Understating and empathizing our problem statement.
Week 2: Research our own playgrounds and what exists in the wider community. Plan our own playground designs.
Week 3: Collaborative building our playground designs while reviewing how our designs are inclusive.
Week 4: Finalize playgrounds, prepare presentations and present final designs to small group of educators.
