We are starting Module 4 "Heroic Feats." The essential question of this unit is: "What Makes Someone a Hero". We are going to read "Prince Charming Misplaces His Bride". We are going to focus on fact vs. opinion, point of view, theme, and text features. Students will also continue to write their Avatar essays.

We are ending Module 3, "Rise to the Occasion." The essential question of this unit is: "What does it take to meet a challenge?". We are continuing to read "My Diary from Here to There". Students are also continuing to read "Save Me A Seat".

We are working hard on research for our opinion writing.
