This week (08/26/24)

This week we will be wrapping up our Unit on what makes us who we are. Students will be reading Kitoto the Mighty, they will learn to recognize the characteristics of a folktale, retell events, gain exposure to literary elements, identify theme, and analyze the author’s craft.

Week of 08/19/24

We are continuing our first reading and writing unit called, "What Makes Us Who We Are?" we will be reading: "Flora and Ulysses: The Illuminated Adventures". We are exploring the central idea of a text, how to ask and answer questions, the author's purpose, text and graphic features, and figurative language.

Week of 08/12/24
